Who We Are

The St. Lawrence Christian Academy opened it's doors to students and staff on September 10, 2007. Established by parents and teachers, this independent elementary day school is focused on academic excellence delivered with Christian values. We offer classes from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.

Arrowsmith Program

The St. Lawrence Christian Academy is the only school in Eastern Ontario offering the Arrowsmith program. This program has been specifically designed with the goal of strengthening students' learning capacities. It is designed for children with learning disabilities at average or above average intelligence. The cognitive exercises that are the foundation of the Arrowsmith program may be thought of as a type of "therapy for the brain". This program has been in existence for almost 30 years. Students who have participated in the program  have described it as life altering. It not only increases their capacity to learn, but it also makes learning an enjoyable experience.
